but I figure I better put this on here so I don't get kicked off over there.

Democrats stink and if you voted for one, you're an idjit.  And if you vote for another, you a really, really, really big idjit.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dadgum, this health care bill stinks.

I would have to agree on the Dems stinking.  But also gotta say if anyone thinks a Rep is their friend,
they're delusional.  Def. the lesser of the evils, but still evil.  A quote I saw other day sums it up for me:

"America is at that awkward stage - too late to work within the framework of the political system,
but too early to start shooting the bastards"

I'll give you that one J, but if you listed all of the politician in Washington from most deserving to least deserving of being tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail, the top half of the list would be mostly Dems.  I say we start at the top and work to the bottom until we run out of feathers.

To me,the lines between parties have been blurred together for at least 20 years, about the last time I voted for a prez.
I always vote,but  against a prez. Shocked

I pay a lot more attention to local politics, about the time they get past state level,I just lump them all together.I feel like my vote doesn't count past the local level, but I still vote.

The health bill past,so what we say didn't count,I don't think anyone really knows the ramafications till years down the road..it ain't pretty, folks.

By the way,I am registered as a dem,but not a sheep.

This country has reached a point where there is a very real problem with distinguishing between parties. I once thought Republican down the board. But today I see no realistic difference between the proverbial left and right. Once in a while you get a real stand out like Palin, but one candidate hardly constitutes the word party. I confess I totally missed the Ron Paul band wagon as I continue to vote hard right to maintain party strength. As I review my decisions this past year I have concluded no vote really matters anymore. Granted we had a full sweep in Virginia recently, but it was LONG over due. Our nation has fallen to materialism and selfishness. There is an entire future of ME people out there who will vote in the next election. This isn't going to change through media, or campaigns. All I see now is 2 parties for sure, dumb and dumber. Hate to tell the world, but voting will not fix this. We have whole generations hooked on this problem. You aren't just going to take away the drug. I continuously compare our times, and easily liken them to 1861 or 1775.

I don't suppose anyone has noticed, but we're in really bad shape as a country, and there is no worse time for the self oriented to be here. there is nothing to give them and most don't deserve anything anyway. Does anyone really believe in their heart of hearts that the rest of us who have, are going to keep giving to the have nots? Oh hurray, instead of one small portion being broke, now we can all be broke. Over my dead body, and that could very well be the case for millions unless by some small miracle we actually make to the next election.

As it stands, the passing of the health care bill might as well be a declaration of war on conservative America. It wouldn't shock me in the least if that's the exact thought going on in the minds of people like Dick Army and those 2 million already infuriated tea baggers.

We shouldn't attempt to vote away socialism, we should focus on killing it as an idea. We make double darn sure it has no capacity to rear it's ugly head ever again.

The only thing that ticks me off more than the Dems is a defeatist attitude.

Are you saying that if we had a Rep majority that'd we would have seen the health care bill? Phooey

Are you saying that if we had a Rep in the White House that we'd have seen the Gitmo transfer, the Copenhagen fiasco, the do nothing negotiations with Iran, the complacency about the committing additional troops to Afghanistan, the executive order giving immunity to Interpole operating in the US and ignoring the growing threat from Al Queda in other countries.

And what's coming down the pike next?  Illegal Amnesty and Cap and Trade, outrageous taxation is soon to follow.  At every turn, the Dems are stealing your liberty.  Reps steal liberty too, but at least with them, it's not their first choice.

I'm sure McCain would have ticked me off on one or more of the above, but with the Dems, they tick me off on each and every one of the issues facing this nation.

I've got an idea, let's vote conservative principals straight down the line or for the Republican candidate that most closely immitates concervative principals.

It's exactly that kind of rhetoric that put that wolf in sheeps clothing, Travis Childers into the US House over a good conservative candidate Greg Davis.  A cursory review of Childers voting record would have the average guy believe he's a blue dog - concervative representative, but on each vote, he was released to vote to protect his slimey backside by Pelosi and their ilk.

Makes me sick and the apathy about one party not being any better than the other makes me puke.

But on a positive note, I'm even prettier than usual today.

I have to agree with "backtocrappie" on this one. In my opinion, both parties have sold us down the river over the past 20 years; gaining in strength, bureaucracy and power. Ignoring the people for their own self interests.

I'll vote for any man or woman who will stand for the Constitution (and mean it!), small government, strong military, fiscal responsibility and individual freedom. If that person wears a D, R or I on their lapel, is of no interest to me. Stop the pork barreling, lobbyist control and stepping on our freedoms. And stop apologizing for the U.S.A., for God's sake!

I believe we will be seeing a lot more folks coming forth who really do want to work for the people. The Tea Party movement is just the beginning.
