As of Feb 09'. Lawmakers in the following states:

Washington, New Hampshire, Arizona, Montana, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, and Georgia have all introduced bills and resolutions declaring sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment. Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering such measures.

Now, if Obama is so great and loved in his first 100 days, then why is this happening?

My guess would be that those folks are very misguided and clueless in their views on what the constitutional functions of government are for a moral and just society. I would also suggest that the main explanation for these prevalent views are a direct consequence of our failed public education system and institutions of higher education for inculcating the notion that the common man is incapable of knowing what is best for living his life and one should live that life for his neighbor his country or anything else other than to live his life for himself.

I would also suggest a reason these views seem so popular is that these folks see themselves as deserving recipients of others time money and efforts and the one supplying those benefits have been well trained to accept their moral status of benefactor for the rest of mankind. Somehow to my mind not a very pleasant societal relationship of a master and slave which I thought had been established as something not good.

Well, it would be so much easier to let Cali, Ill, New York and Mass to just form their own Nation.  Marxists R Us would be a good name to start with.  See how long those POS Run States would last without sucking money out of the rest of the Country.
